I, Mike Dunleavy, Governor of the State of Alaska, under the authority of Article III, Sections 1 and 24, of the State of Alaska Constitution, hereby revoke Administrative Order 356 which administratively transferred the labor relations function, with limited exceptions, from the Department of Administration to the Department of Law.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION
The Office of the Governor has authority for the overall implementation of this Order. Department heads and agency staff shall provide their complete cooperation in effectuating this reorganization.
TIMEFRAMES
The transfer of the Labor Relations Staff will occur on the effective date of this Order. The transfer of any other affected staff will occur as necessary based on coordination between the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Department heads.
RESOURCE ALLOCATION
The Office of the Governor, in cooperation with the Director of OMB, shall determine the appropriate allocation and transfer of personal services, travel, contractual, equipment, space, data processing, and any other budgetary resources to ensure the effective implementation of this order.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Order takes effect September 1, 2026.
