Governor Dunleavy has ordered flags fly at half-staff beginning immediately, to sundown tomorrow, April 29th in honor of the service members who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash in Healy, Alaska on April 27th.

"Alaska join me in sending thoughts and prayers to the U.S. Army soldiers involved in the fatal helicopter collision", Governor Dunleavy asks. "My heart breaks for the family of the 3 soldiers who were killed. We pray for the injured soldier to be treated and return home safely".

“This is an incredible loss for these soldiers’ families, their fellow soldiers, and for the division,” Maj. Gen. Brian Eifler, commanding general of the 11th Airborne Division, said in the Army statement. “Our hearts and prayers go out to their families, friends and loved ones, and we are making the full resources of the Army available to support them.”
