Governor Dunleavy visited firefighters and support staff battling the Shovel Creek Fire near Fairbanks. During his visit Governor Dunleavy toured the Fairbanks Division of Forestry Headquarters and thanked the support staff working around the clock to ensure that firefighters have everything they need to fight current and future wildfires across Interior, Alaska. The Governor then drove along Murphy Dome Road to speak with firefighters and see the fire line first hand.
