Dunleavy Administration Names Acting OMB Director

Oct 1, 2019

October 1, 2019 (Anchorage, AK) – Alaska Governor Michael J. Dunleavy today announced Amanda Holland as Acting OMB Director, temporarily filling the position held by former OMB Director Donna Arduin.

Holland, who currently serves as OMB Management Director, will help lead the Dunleavy administration in the development and roll-up of the FY2021 budget – which by state statute will be submitted to the Alaska State Legislature on December 15, 2019.

“While we look to fill this role on a permanent basis, I’m excited to have Amanda Holland step in as Acting OMB Director,” said Governor Dunleavy. “Not only does she bring years of knowledge and management experience to the table, she is well-suited to lead OMB and our departments in building out the FY21 budget.”

On September 16, 2019 Donna Arduin transitioned from Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to the position of Advisor to assist in the development and implementation of performance-based budgeting processes and program prioritization methods for Departments.

Donna Arduin’ s employment status with the State of Alaska, which was set to expire October 1, 2019, has been temporarily extended by two weeks while contract terms to serve as an Advisor to the Administration are worked out.
