Governor’s Cabinet Administration Leslie Ridle Commissioner http://doa.alaska.gov/ Leslie has previously served as the Department of Administrations Deputy and Acting Commissioner. Her portfolio as Deputy Commissioner included the Divisions of Personnel and Labor Relations, General Services, Motor Vehicles, the Public Defender Agency, Office of Public Advocacy and the Alaska Public Offices Commission. Leslie started her professional career as an 8th grade English and Social Studies teacher in Eagle River. After teaching, she transitioned to a career in state government with the Alaska Legislature and Governor Tony Knowles. After the Knowles Administration Leslie moved to Anchorage in 2002 and worked for Mayor Mark Begich. In 2009, she moved to Washington, DC, to work as Deputy Chief of Staff for Senator Mark Begich. Leslie is a 47-year Alaskan who grew up in Douglas and Anchorage. She's happy to be back in her hometown and living closer to her mom, brother, and a growing group of nieces and nephews.
