20th Anniversary of Love INC
WHEREAS, Love INC eases the financial burden on government because it uses no government funding for administrative purposes.
WHEREAS, Love INC operates a clearinghouse which coordinates agency and church assistance, thereby increasing cooperation and avoiding duplication.
WHEREAS, Love INC enables churches, organizations, and individuals to provide assistance to people whose needs could not be met by existing agencies.
WHEREAS, Love INC fosters independence rather than dependence by addressing causes of need and offering opportunity to make life changes as well as meeting critical needs such as food, clothing, transportation, and shelter.
WHEREAS, Love INC services are provided by volunteers, therefore dollars given to Love INC are multiplied many times over in terms of the value of services provided.
WHEREAS, Love INC is a community service nonprofit ministry that is able to monitor the needs of the community and be a part of providing needed services such as the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank, C.A.R.T.S., and currently a transitional living/education center, and Love INC Family Hope Center, for our neighbors-in-need.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Sarah Palin, Governor of the State of Alaska, do hereby proclaim November 2007 as:
20th Anniversary of Love INC
in Alaska, in honor of two decades of dedication to the Central Kenai Peninsula.
