Commissioner Hultberg Resigning Post

November 12, 2013, Anchorage, Alaska - Governor Sean Parnell today accepted the resignation of Department of Administration Commissioner Becky Hultberg. Hultberg has served as commissioner since November 2010. Commissioner Hultberg has accepted a job in the private sector and will remain in Alaska.

“Becky has done a great job in her role as commissioner,” Governor Parnell said. “During her tenure, she led efforts to reduce state operating costs and improve services to agencies. Her talent and leadership will be missed, and we wish her the best in the future.”

Hultberg also served in the office of Governor Frank Murkowski in several positions, including press secretary, special assistant, and boards and commissions director. Commissioner Hultberg’s resignation is effective December 11.
