Governor Issues Thanksgiving Day Message
November 24, 2011, Juneau, Alaska – Governor Sean Parnell issued the following message in recognition of Thanksgiving Day:
“As residents of this Great Land, we have much to be thankful for - a beautiful state filled with good-hearted people. Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to celebrate with family and friends and give thanks for all of life’s blessings. It's also an important time to remember our men and women in uniform serving around the world. Sandy and I extend our best wishes to you and your family during this season.”
